Front Porch: New recipe for a quick treat
Hi Beautiful,
What a July.
Between the release of the paperback version of Collecting Confidence and the launch of my Love Who You Are Holiday Home collection, I’ve been busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest.
And that calls for a celebration, which is why I wanted to share one of my favorite pound cake recipes. It’s fast and easy and super yummy—perfect for a quick treat no matter how busy you are.
Xoxo
Recipe: Jo’s Quick Pound Cake
Ingredients:
1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
1 package of instant vanilla pudding
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 (8 oz) tub sour cream
Directions:
Mix cake according to directions. Add additional egg, sugar, self-rising flour, and sour cream.
Always remember to grease and flour your cake pan.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
